In this TV commercial, a trio of rusk characters throws a party inside a tree house.
Character Design
Some of the sketches and models I made for the character's design.
Animation
I animated, rendered and composited three shots: Shot 13 | 0:12 - 0:13 Shot 23 | 0:22 - 0:23 Shot 25 | 0:26 - 0:27 Each shot posed its own challenges.
In Shot 13 the central character is mirroring the girl’s dance moves.
In shot 23, the characters had to be animated appealingly without colliding with the children.
And in shot 25 the boy’s fist was too low for the rusk character’s size. Having the hands meet despite that required some creativity.
